Once upon a time ...
In 2003, Odylle started her stimulating parisian adventure by being accepted in the well-known parisian painters association “ Les Peintres du Marais”.
For the first time in her career, Odylle had the opportunity to attend the famous “Journées de la Peinture” (Paris Paintings Days) hosted by the association in the historical heart of Paris (Notre Dame de Paris, Place des Vosges,… ). This opening was for the painter the chance to finally face up with the public about her artwork.

Furthermore, Odylle has been enthusiastically involved for more than a year in the “Marché de la Création Bastille” (Bastille’s Art Market) which was the occasion to meet diverse artists, professionals or enthusiasts, and to confront her technical skills and her viewpoint on watercolours with other artistic movements. This gathering with other artists was a great endowment for the painter to spread out new ideas and create a new personal style.
Odylle artworks, indubitably figurative, are resulting from long preliminary researches and drawings. The artist's obsession in painting is to point up her work with the more minutiae as possible. Thus, before even starting painting, Odylle must identify every detail which will compose her piece of art. Additionally, the painter has to identify which colours will be more relevant to better show the deepness and the fluidity of the artwork.
Odylle like to view her watercolours paintings as open books in which feelings and sensitivity merge through characters.
